Product Review ***Natasha Denona - Lila Palette*** ME SPREE

Price & Purchase Process & Packaging:
Let me preface this review with this notion: If you buy anything from Natasha Denona, expect it to be an investment & perhaps expensive (depending on your concept of expensive). The Natasha Denona Lila Palette is a beautifully arranged palette featuring a myriad of purple hue tones which exude the elegance and sophistication of the brand. From the Natasha Denona website - “Inspired by her love for the purple color scale, Natasha created the Lila Palette just in time for Fall. This Palette features 15 brand new gorgeous eyeshadow shades in a combination of warm and cool violets, plums, and fuchsias perfect for every skin tone. This palette includes all four classic ND eyeshadow textures in her signature Chroma Crystal, Creamy Matte, Metallic, and new innovative Duo Chrome shades.” The palette is priced at $129 dollars before applicable tax and shipping (depending on where you reside). The moment the palette went live on Sephora.com it was in my cart and at my home within 2 days. The item was packaged well, in traditional Sephora packaging, and was the only item purchased in the shipment.

Pigmentation & Color Payoff & Performance:
I am a huge Natasha Denona eyeshadow fan. I will be upfront about my obsession with the eyeshadow produced by the brand. I own both 28 pan palettes, the 10 pan palette, all of the 5 pan palettes, the Sunset Palette and now the Lila Palette (I also own the 2017 Holiday 5 pan palettes, which just arrived today). I own these eyeshadows for many reasons. When I find something I like, I have a tendency to be consistency loyal to the brand, whether it’s makeup, food, clothing or something else. I took a chance purchasing my first Natasha Denona eyeshadow palette because the price wasn’t very attractive, but the quality made up for it completely. So, when I purchased the Lila Palette, I was confident I would be more than satisfied, and I was. The palette is indicative of Natasha Denona’s consistently high quality, shockingly amazing pigmentation, and varying unique and distinctive shades. Although the palette is obviously an exclusively purple toned creation, it still allows for user creativity and a sufficient number of irreplaceable looks that speaks to the brand’s ability to continually provide unparalleled excellence in originality and ingenuity.

Overall Product Presentation:
I continue to purchase Natasha Denona’s eyeshadows for a reason. Unlike many other brands who tend to only produce stellar products when they are permanent items and drop the ball on limited edition or Holiday collection, I can confidently purchase eyeshadows from Natasha Denona without trepidation. I know that every single time I will be blown away. Are Natasha Denona’s palettes overpriced? No, they actually are not. When you break down the cost per shadow coupled with the amount of product you receive, topped off by the superior quality, you come out ahead of the game. So, my suggestion is that you do your homework and compare the grams per shadow and the overall cost and compare to other brands like Urban Decay, Too Faced, or Makeup Geek. I promise you will be surprised. Go into your local Sephora and swatch a shade, just one shade, and then you’ll have an idea of what I am talking about. So, with all that being said, put your money aside in a jar and label it, “Natasha Denona” and save up your coins. Treat yourself, because every once in a while, you deserve true luxury.
