Review, Rate & Rotate - ****Week One****

Lorac Mega Pro 3: Review - Huge Lorac fan and absolutely loved this palette. It caters to both cool tone and warm tone lover alike. Classic Lorac Pro formula, buttery and smooth, and easily applied on the eyes. Rate - 9/10 (-1 for the cruddy packaging which is super easy to get dirty and very difficult to get clean. Rotate - Will remain in my collection and will not be decluttered, looking forward to using it more in the spring time.
ABH Subculture Eyeshadow Palette - Review - All I can say is, to each their own. I have no idea what the hell everyone is complaining about. This palette is amazing. Although these shadows take a bit more time in application and blending, I enjoy this palette more than the Modern Renaissance. Maybe I just enjoy this color palette more, but the pigmentation is unreal and I think you just have to adjust in order to create an amazing look. Rate -7.5/10 I get the whole idea that as a consumer you don't want to have to learn a new technique in order to apply eyeshadow. Most consumers use the same techniques and pressure to apply shadows. No one wants a learning curve to apply eyeshadow. Rotate - Absolutely will remain in my collection and will probably be pulled again before winter is over.

Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani Eyeshadow Palette: Review - Unfortunately, I don't have much to say about this palette because I only used it once. Many of the shades do not have enough of a variation to make a difference on my skin. This is a very appropriate everyday work palette if you like soft and simple and do not have Olive, Tan, or Deeper skin tones. Rate - Unable to provide an accurate rate that reflects thorough testing of the product. Rotate - Definitely conflicted. I need to test the product more, but I also want to pass it along because I don't think it's going to work for me. I'll keep you updated.

Ciate London The Fun Palette: Review - An extremely underrated brand that deserves more exposure. This little palette is great for travel and has enough color to pack a punch, while containing those neutral every day shades that are appropriate at any time. I love this little guy! Rate - 6.5 Although I love this palette, you can only come up with a couple of looks from it. If you try to be super creative it still comes out looking the same. You might need to pull another palette in for some diversity which is not something I am a fan of at all. Rotate - This will stay in my collection for a while because of the portability factor, the consistency in formula, and for the simple fact that the eye looks I do create are stunning!
City Color HD Blush in Warm Lavender & Amuse Blush: Review - Both excellent quality blushes that are surprisingly pigmented. Both literally cost a dollar and perform just as well, if not better, than high-end blushes. Rate - 8/10 You might think that's too high a rating but I am telling you that these blushes perform amazingly well on my skin. Rotate - This little dollar blushes aren't going anywhere, honey!

Milani Bronzer in Soleil: Review - Everyone on the planet was talking about this bronzer last year, but I wasn't very interested because I wasn't using bronzer at the time. I picked this guy up off of poshmark and a bonus in a bundle I bought. A lot of people don't really care for shimmer in their bronzer, but the shimmer is more like a shine and it quite beautiful. Rate - 8/10 Excellent product from the drugstore, but I found that I had to apply too much pressure to pick up the product. Rotate - Staying put and excited to use for the summer.
Wet n Wild Highlighter in Precious Petals: Review - I have been anxious to use this product because of such wonderful things I have heard about it. Personally, I think that the majority of highlighter are the same with slight shade differences. It's not the same as eyeshadow or even eyeliner. It's more limited in terms of what's appropriate and wearable. I think this in an excellent highlighter for the price and I really enjoy it this week. Rate - 7/10 Great for the price but nothing extraordinarily striking about the product. Rotate - Will stay put for the moment, but looking to wean down my highlighter collection.
